Poster for the New Year's 2008/09 celebration at Hope & Olive, our favorite restaurant in Greenfield. This is supposed to represent H&O's personality as a restaurant: causal yet classy, retro-modern, with a menu of unusual comfort food.
Somehow, I was also able to sell them on a suite of menus as well - dinner, drinks & desserts. All were supposed to be laser-cut in fancy shapes, but I underestimated the intricacies of menu planning (i.e. the food wholesaler might suddenly decide they're unable to deliver ingrediants for the main dish the day before the event). Somehow, between newspaper & restaurant projects, i manage to make a lot of madcap stressed out stuff work.
