IOften, the editorial department at the newspaper where I work brings things to me at the last minute - having the entire paper to assemble daily, they don't share our leisurly pace. The section was meant to sooth public perception that our paper (published continuously, if not under different names, since 1789) was on the verge of collapse or absorption because we'd started sharing a new flexographic press with another paper owned by our parent company.
On a side note, the press it's self is something to behold: 3 stories of deafening, blue machinery, sparkling clean, shipped from Italy on a barge & capable of thousands of copies per hour.
